Emissions Calculator
Our carbon calculator was developed in line with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, the most widely used guidance for measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions. The GHG Protocol publishes a list of third party databases to help in collecting data for corporate value chain (scope 3) GHG inventories. From this list, we selected the UK Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs guide to emissions reporting, now published by the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, using their estimate of emissions caused per mile by heavy goods vehicles carrying an average weight load.
