According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the transportation sector is the largest emitter of greenhouse gases. As transportation intermediaries, we're striving to tackle this problem head-on and inspire others in the industry to do the same.
We track, offset and report to you each month the greenhouse gas emissions you produced through your shipments based on factors including distance, weight and mode of transportation. We then purchase offsets for your company, meaning we fund offset projects around the world equivalent to the level of carbon emitted by your company that month.
We provide your company with a unique URL, powered by Cloverly, to see the stats and location of each funded project updated in real-time.
The portal ensures that all projects are measurable and traceable and meet globally recognized offset standards.
For companies engaged in our program for more than three months, we offer company spotlights on our social media pages, highlighting the sustainability efforts and mission of the company.
For clients registered in this program, we provide the carbon offsets at cost for all shipments booked with us. Other services such as measuring carbon emissions, providing a web-based portal, creating marketing assets, and more are done at no cost to our clients. We view this as a true partnership and aim to make our program accessible to all shippers committed to making a difference. To view sample data with pricing, please get in touch.
There are two types of emissions: direct and indirect.
The Greenhouse Gas Protocol Initiative defines direct emissions as those originating from sources owned or controlled by an organization. Examples include emissions from a manufacturing site or from company-owned fleet vehicles.
Indirect emissions are those created as a consequence of the activities of an organization but generated from sources owned or controlled by another entity. Indirect emissions include those associated with employee air travel or third-party shipping.
